Objectives
I am pleased to share insights from our recent business mission to Canada, specifically in Ontario, Ottawa, and Montreal. This mission marks a significant milestone as we established a new branch in Toronto, aimed at addressing the gaps created by current political challenges while meeting the imperative for diversification.
A key highlight of our mission was the strong synergy among various Egyptian entities, exemplified by the participation of Ambassador Dr. Sameh Aboul Enien, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Fateh El Bab from the Ministry of Petroleum; and Mr. Moh Youssef representing GAFI (Ministry of Investment). Their involvement underscored our unified approach to fostering bilateral relations.
Throughout our visit, we engaged in substantive discussions with parliamentarians and participated in a meeting at the Senate House. These interactions not only strengthened our relationships but also facilitated advocacy for collaborative initiatives between our nations. The high-level networking forums we attended provided invaluable opportunities to connect with key stakeholders and industry leaders, further enhancing our commitment to partnerships that benefit both Egypt and Canada.
In conclusion, this mission reaffirmed our shared commitment to collaboration and innovation. I extend my sincere appreciation to H.E. Ahmad Hafez, the Ambassador of Egypt to Canada, for his unwavering support and exemplary organization of a focused agenda, along with his ongoing guidance.
I would also like to acknowledge the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, the Canada Arab Business Council, Dr. Nashat, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as Shahir and Adel Boulus for their exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the success of our mission.
Together, we will continue to build bridges and explore new avenues for growth and cooperation.
