The Canada Egypt Business Council (CEBC) is proud to join forces with the Canada Arab Business Council (CABC) to expand the socio-economic bilateral ties and boost trade and investment between Canada, Egypt and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. The MOU was signed by Mr. Motaz Raslan, Chairman of the CEBC, and Mr. Scott Jolliffe, Chairperson of the Canada Arab Business Council, in the presence of the Honorable, Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development of Canada.

From his side, Mr. Raslan confirmed that expanding Canadian trade and investment with Egypt and the rest of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries is a priority to global post-pandemic economic recovery efforts. He added that both CEBC and CACB will be working closely to enhance bilateral Canadian trade and investment ties in the region through supporting companies in exploring the business and investment opportunities and highlighting Canadian expertise, collaborative relationships and emerging technologies.

CEBC is a non-governmental association that focuses on promoting trade and investment between Canada and Egypt. The council works closely with business sector, international organization and government officials in both countries to enhance the socio-economic bilateral ties between Canada and Egypt through supporting constructive dialogue and business match making opportunities in addition to the trade missions to Canada, to promote stronger trade and economic relations between both countries.
